I am trying to determine what happened to an ancestor from Tensas Parish, Louisiana that served in WWI. I have a copy of his discharge papers from 1922 that show he was discharged from Camp Furlong, NM. He did not return to his family nor did he communicate with them after that. NARA has told me that they don't have any other records for him.

Does anyone have any suggestions on other sources I can explore?
