Maybe we may be kin, but I am looking for information on my GreatGreat Grandfather Lewis Gonzales. He lived in the Acme and Black River area and died somewhere between 1915 and 1920. Any info would be greatly appreciated

My name is Grafton Salvant my father's name was David C Salvant (born in Plaquemines Parish 1922) his father was Albert E Salvant Jr. (born in Plaquemines about 1898) My grandmother was Patrone Higgins Salvant (born in Plaquemines 1900). The family had a restaurant located at St. Peter and Villere across the street from Joe Prop's Bar in the late 30's, 40's and early 50's. My gg grandmother was Matilda Delour Salvant b 1836. Her father was Jean Salvant b 1806, mother Adele Perrin..all born and lived in Plaquemines. Delour married Lucius Forsyth from Plaquemines Parish. Thought maybe we might be related; or that you might have some information on this Salvant family. Any information would be appreciated.
