I am looking for information on the Cooksey family (Af. Am.)in Minden Webster Parish and Webb family in

Claiborne Parish. This is the information I have so far on my g.grandfather William Augustus Cooksey born

8/1894.

father - Jacob Cooksey

mother - Mary

step mother - Mattie Cooksey

grandmother - Vic (not sure if paternal or maternal)

brothers - Roosevelt Cooksey, Roland Cooksey

sisters - Roxie Norton Johnson, Fannie Cole, Ella King, Rose ?, Theola Wright

And my g.grandmother Lillia Mae Webb Cooksey (supposedly she had the largest funeral ever in Minden in

1975)

father - Allen Webb

mother - Jane Harper

sisters - Henrietta White (died at 111 yrs old. 1881 - 1992), Mary Marcray

brothers - Jesse Amos, William Amos, Henry Thomas, Albert Webb

My gggrandfather was William Parm, I'm trying to find information on him. I did find a William Webb that served in the Civil War who also was William Parm. He had a wife Easter Webb who also was Easter Parm. If any of those names look like something you have seen or heard about please respond.

I believe we have a connection here. I just talked with my grandmother and she gave me the following information. Hopefully you will be able to help me out with the info. you have.

my great-grandmother is Lillia Mae Webb-Cooksey. Her siblings;Henrietta, Jesse, and William Amos; shared the same mother with Lillia. They have different fathers. My grandmother told me that Lillia was the youngest and Henrietta was her oldest sister. Her other siblings are Mary Marcray(same mother), Henry Thomas(same mother), and Albert Webb (same father). Do you have Jane Harper listed as their mother? For sure we have the same family if your "Henrietta" lived to be 111. My family always went to her birthday bash in Louisiana
