Looking to reach out to the descendants of this African-American couple and reconnect a family tree. They both were originally from Edgecombe County, North Carolina married in 1890, then moved permanently to Bacon, Georgia and had many children. ROBERTA named some of her children after her five siblings and she is the namesake of her mother Roberta Knight. I have a copy of Roberta's & Oliver's marriage register and know for a fact that Oliver's brother stood as witness at their wedding.
