JONES, Alice E. age 85, of Dayton, Ohio departed this life on Tuesday, November 22, 2011.

She was born May 11, 1926 to the late Earnest and Bessie Moreland in Franklin, Georgia.

She resided 46 years in Aliquippa, PA (Beaver County) and 5 years in Dayton, OHIO.

She was an active member of the Old Timer's Club.
Alice is preceded in death by (4) brothers and (2) sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory; daughters, Arthenia Sullivan, Geneva (Lynn) Thomasson and Doris (Lokey) Shorter; son, Walter (Charlene) Jones II; special sons, Emmanuel Moreland and Waymon Jones; special sister-in-law, Willie Mae; special brother-in-law, Casey Jones; (6) additional brothers-in-law; (6) additional sisters-in-law; (17) grandchildren; (54) great grandchildren; (12) great, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service 11:00 A.M., MONDAY, November 28, 2011 at GREATER ST. JOHN MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 4200 Germantown Pk., with Reverend Lloyd D. Hayes, officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: West Memory Gardens.
