Hubert Belanger had several pieces of land. One piece was on bayou Terrebonne in Terrebonne parish T15s R16e sec. 85 (1816 cert. 584) Which is below the railroad tracks in Schriever and above La 316 Gray to Bayou Blue. He had another piece which my ancester bought from Him (Jerome Authement)which was 20 miles s. of Houma it bordered canal Belanger and had 4 1/2 arpents facing bayou Terrebonne which I have not yet found. If you find it let me know! One of my authement cousins married a Lawrence Bergeron who is a descendent of Hubert Belanger and his son Eugene. Do you have any info going further back the tree?
