My name is Wanda Lejeune and I'm just starting my search for
my ancestors. I live in Marrero, LA. Most of my relations
are from the Acadia Parish area, Crowley, Egan, Midland,
Mermentau, Morse,Estherwood, etc. My father is Raymond Lejeune, Jr., his father was Raymond Lejeune Sr.. My grandmother on my fathers side was Arminie Cormier Lejeune. My Grandmother's family was from Robert's Cove north of Crowley, Louisiana. I don't know much about them. My great grandfather was Gerasin Lejeune. My great-great grandfather was Onezime Lejeune. Both my great grandfather and my great-great grandfather married twice. I don't know either of their spouse's names. I was told that my grandfather worked in the rice fields in Estherwood and Crowley. My great grandfather worked in the Sulphur Mines in Sulphur, Louisiana and also worked in the sugar cane fields somewhere near Gueydan. I don't know what type of work my great great grandfather did.

Any help you can give me would be appreciated.
