Cathleen, you are distant cousin of mine. My great-grandmother was Corrine D'Avy Fontenot, mother of Rita J. Saint Amand, whose son Paul Saint Amand you know. My Uncle Paul's wife, my Aunt Judy is related to you I think through marriage too. It is remarkable what you posted about what you found about the D'Avy ancestry. I have found that the Saint Amand ancestry goes back to Lord D'aspit, Odo Saint Amand (a Knights Templar and his brother who was co-founder), and to Mary Magdalene. I know from what my great-grandmother Corrine D'Avy said was the name is a French name. I will search more. If you have found any information, please let me know.

Hey Uncle Jimmy. This is your niece, Susie, Jackie's daughter. I need help on family info, only mom and "brother" were never legally adopted. May-May (Not sure of spelling) only got a "permanent care, custody and control" on them. I went with David years ago to Franklin, LA to get all the paperwork, but can't find it now. Anyway, please contact me at 817-298-2638. I love and miss both you and Aunt Jean. Chuck died 8-1-2013, and I'm still having problems coping, and spoke to Jean & Judy just after he died, and have since lost contact.
