Cecile, I am of the Simon Demas lineage as well. I have some info, but not all. I want to purchase the CD from Conover, but cannot at this time as times are hard at the moment! My ggggrandfather was Simon Demas Broussard. I didn't have Alzire's last name...didn't know she was a Broussard too.
I have listed only 6 of their children (Celima,Matilda,Simon,Demas,Jules and Leon) Can you fill in the missing one?
Also do you know where they are buried? I have a handwritten letter from the pastor of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church as a certificate of death back then.
I come from Simon Demas' son Simon. I would appreciate any info you could provide me that I am missing. I have Simon Demas' father Simon as being born 11 Dec of 1804 but no death. I have his marriage date and wife name of Marie Prince b 15 Sept 1812, but again no death date. I have listed 4 children (Marie, Victor, Simon and Amelie)
then I go back to Isidore (did he marry a Broussard also?)
