AncestryDNA

I have a Y-DNA test performed by Family Tree DNA (FTDNA) dated 9/26/2011, The test is 67 marker Y-DNA test. It showed I only matched a known cousin at the Hale FTDNA Project and that my cousin and I DID NOT match any other Hale at the project. FTDNA did contact us and showed we had perfect 12 marker matches with these surnames: Acker, Aker, and Akers. One Aker I match through the 67 markers.

I am wondering if the AncestryDNA test might me better the the FDNA test, and would it possibly show that the FTDNA test might have been flawed? I have entered my FTDNA Y-DNA test results at Ancestry.com's DNA, and I find it even more confusing than the Projects at FTDNA, I saw the cost of the AncestryDNA is $99 level of markers do they test to? Would having a AncesrtyDNA Y-DNA test help me over the test I had performed at FTDNA?

Thanks for any help.
