Surname DNA Journal will be honoring one or more genetic genealogists who have made an extremely valuable contribution to the field in the past year at a conference in October. The award will include a modest cash prize as well as a plaque. Nominations must be received no later than Sept 30, 2014 and should be submitted via email to editor@surnamedna.com. Please describe the contributor's accomplishments in the past year and why you think this person should be selected. Sorry, no lifetime achievement awards at this time.
