To all Rochelle descendants:
We have started a Rochelle DNA project on FTDNA
So far we have two male Rochelle Descendants with Y37 Marker test from eastern NC: New Hanover Co. NC--Benjamin & John Rochelle
We also have 1 male descendant from John Rochelle of Lowndes Co., MS
1 male Rochelle descendant from William Rachels son of Valentine Rachels/Rochelle of SC, GA, KY, TN, TX

We need more male Rochelle descendants to participate.
If you are a male Rochelle descendant and would like to take a DNA test, you can remain anonymous or use your earliest male descendant name for your test results.
Also if you have taken a DNA test with Ancestry.com already, you can transfer your results over to FTDNA.
The more test results we have the more we can link our Rochelle lines and find out where we came from.
