FamilyTreeDNA.com has a service that tests the Y-chromosome, which can show kinship and estimate earliest common ancestry. As part of this service, family researchers may join a surname project to share information with other researchers with common interests. As the test is for the Y-chromosome and by the nature of the project, the option of joining the LINTHICUM surname project is only available to men with the last names as shown below. These mappings of the Y-chromosome could potentially be a huge help to researchers, but we will need a lot of participants from across these various names and from various family branches before patterns can be established.
Variations: Lincecom, Lincecomb, Lincecum, Lincicome, Lincicum, Linscomb, Linscombe, Linsecum, Linsicom, Linsicomb, Linsicombe, Linsicum, Lintecum, Linthacum, Linthecum, Linthicom, Linthicomb, Linthicombe, Linthicome, Linthicum, Linthicumb, Linthycum, Linticum, Lyncicomb, Lyncicum, Lynthacum, Lynthecomb, Lynthecombe, Lynthecum, Lynthicom, Lynthicum, Lynthicumb
