Bob Heterick was an authority on the Cary's of Gloucester County; unfortunately he passed away a few years back. His mother did some genealogy work on the Cary's of Gloucester County and as I understand had published a book. I have yet to read her work, but I've considered the possibility that the Cary's of Nansemond County might be related.
