PALMER DNA

I am interested in any member with Palmer surname. I am trying to "link" with kin and establishing ancestry link to my gg granddad, Alexander "Sandy" Palmer, and verify his father as James Palmer, b abt 1755 in NC. James Burrell Palmer and I have 37 of 37 matched markers which establishes a direct link to Alexander/Sandy. Would appreciate any info that would further our ancestry quest.

Any luck in establishing Sandy alexander to James Palmer of Cumberland Co, NC who died in 1813 there or to my ancestor, James Benjamin Palmer. I read somewhere that someone believes they could not have been full brothers? Know anything about this. I took the DNA test and is posted under the Palmer DNA results under James Palmer. Have you seen this and how does it match your results. Would love to hear from you directly to palmerjo@earthlink as I do not get here often. I assume you found the headstone for Sandy. Thanks for posting it here.

My Grandmother was a Palmer from Mississippi through the Alexander Sandy Palmer lineage. We live in Leake Co., Mississippi. Would love to link up with your information and see where it leads.

Jpalmer,
I am trying to find my Palmer line. I have posted dna results in my ancestry tree (Palmer-Pullium Family Tree) for myself and my brother as well as on familytreedna.com.

Take a look and see if we align with your markers at all. the oldest Palmer ancestor I can verify (document) is Andrew Jackson Palmer born in TN in 1815 died in Suches Ga in 1898.
Family oral tradition says we are related to the NC Palmers in WNC.

Thanks,
Lesley Palmer Pullium
