According to GenomeMate, you can import your AncestryDNA matches via the Jeff Snavely Chrome Plugin. I'd been meaning to install it anyway so I did. According to instructions, you have to click "Scan" on your DNA home page:
http://genealogypuzzlesdna.blogspot.com/2014/05/getting-star...On Ancestry > DNA > Your DNA Home Page > Scan > Wait for completion
For starters, there's two scan buttons - one at the top says "Full Scan", one lower down just says "Scan". Do they do the same thing? I pressed the lower one because it just says "Scan" like the instructions say. However, it keeps freezing up. According the instructions, you should be able to just resume the scan by loading the DNA home page in a new tab and pressing "Resume". But the resume buttons are at the top, next to Full Scan and furthermore, there are two of them: "Resume Summary Scan" and "Resume Details Scan". Which one do I use? And any suggestions on how to stop it from freezing up or crashing every 10 mins? Chrome is up to date.
TIA.
