Is anyone else having trouble with the search tool in your ancestry DNA matches? I have been able to put in surnames and get results but when I try to pair it with a location ( combinations I have used before and places I know I have matches since I have looked at them before and got results) regardless of what I put in it comes back " no matches found". For example if I put in the name Ellis alone I will get matches but if I put in Ellis, Kentucky USA or North Carolina USA- nothing ( despite having matches in those locations when I look through just the surnames, I have to weed through dozens of others to find them). When I called ancestry I was told you can do either location or surname, but not both. HUH?? Funny when I put in Virginia alone where a huge chunk of my family is from and I have oodles of matches it comes back " no matches found".
