I have just had my DNA results back for about 2 weeks, so it's all somewhat new & confusing. I have a lot of 4 to 6 gen cousins listed. Some have trees that can be viewed, but many are private. But some are listed as "managed by" another person. Do this mean a relative or friend composed the Tree and put it online & manages it for the home person of the Tree ?

I am the last male descendant with the same family surname going back to my GG grandfather b-1832 in OHIO.

I am not sure what DNA will help me with ????
