Yes, that is what I found as well. I must have mis read their offer of the FREE MTDNA test request from me.

I too, sent in my sample, plus the paper work. Pedigree,etc. that is my female side. Waited quite a while, heard nothing back. So emailed, and received back, that NO, NADA, was I going to be sent the results.

There was supposed to be a coupon sent out after they received my DNA sample for test. NOT, NADA, NO WAY Hosea.

I would have to go and "Beat the Bushes" find my own laboratory and get tested at my own expense. FINE. Just wish they had been more forthcoming and clearer on the original solicitation of my DNA sample.

At least, my brother's DNA test, did produce more "Fruit/ful" information, Did find 3 other branches of the MILLS family of New Jersey, that at least by DNA, was related to ours. Same thing, though, one has to do the paper trail, to prove out the relationship.

And in the interim, also found 2 more family MILLS lines, that again, at least, by DNA, are related.

The paper trail still seems to be in the "GREY" area. Not Clear.

Still, "No CIGAR".
