My matrilineal great-grandmother was born in St. Louis to Lebanese immigrants. To my understanding, I should have a near exact copy of her mtDNA but my results came back with no middle eastern DNA. Is there so little mtDNA that it doesn't affect this test? I doubt she was a pure descendant of European crusaders...
