We have always understood that we have Italian ancestry - from my great great grandfather. There is now a question on the father of one of my direct relatives. My grandfather is dead, as is his only sister who had no living children, and I don't want to upset my 83 year old father! Is there a test I can have done which would identify if I have any Italian blood, or is it too far down the tree? Or is that kind of information even avialble from a DNA test? The other possibilities are Irish or Jewish - am I being too specific - would the information be that detailled?
