My father was adopted and is now deceased. I was hoping to use one of the DNA genetic testing services to try and track down his family origins (believed to be Irish), or possibly even a surname. Can someone suggest what company to use and/or which test would be most likely to help me track down this information? I don't want to waste money on testing I don't need.
