Hello,

I have been tested by Ancestry's yDNA test to be a member of haplogroup R1b. Since R1b is so rare as a final haplogroup and to the best of my knowledge I have no Kurdish ancestry I am curious as to how I work R1b into a smaller sub-group. I'm happy to read a good book on the subject as I'm sure it gets complex but if anyone can provide some next steps for me it would be greatly appreciated. Presumably Ancestry will update this in the future but since I have the data in hand I may as well do the work myself. Is this even reasonable?
