If it showed up as something, it can NOT be noise. Noise would be random, NOT specific to any particular race.
Having said that, your autosomal DNA is inherited by both parents, and the test randomly picks a little DNA here and a little there, and the possible error is in the percentages, with in general would be 2 standard deviations from the norm, meaning it might be off a few percentage points, but not many, 5 or 10 at hte most. Now your 2 percent WAS THERE. So the real value has to be greater than zero, and between anything greater than "0" and and up to 8 percent probably.
I doubt if East Asian can mean American Indian, but I might be wrong.
Also Genghis Khan lived about 750-800 years ago and I doubt any DNA from that long ago would show up on the autodomal test -- too many generations have come and gone -- UNLESS there were a community of these Asians that kept marrying each other, keeping those genes dominant generation after generation. The Turks controlled the Balkans until 100 years ago, so there might be such genes isolated in the Balkans. . . . that's just a wild shot in the dark . . .
