Can someone tell me if the search function to look for a certain name in my DNA matches tree is part of this app. or is it a normal ancestry search.

I have a DNA cousin who has not uploaded the app and when I've asked her to check
to see if she has any trees with a certain name in them, she says she can't do it.
I've sent her a screen shot to show her where to look for it and she says her DNA matches page doesn't have that
