If you are descended fron the same Tullett line that I am then you are of French ancestry prior to 1530. My Tullett line (Toulett) arrived in the Dorking/Horsham area somewhere between 1530 and 1540 and were probably iron smelting artisans who came over to work in the mini industrial revoluton that was going on all along the Surrey/Sussex boarder as iron ore, lime stone and timber (for charcoal) were all found in close proximity.
Would be interested to share trees if your ancestors come from Surrey and/or Sussex.
Regards
Chris Wakeling (Mother's maiden name Tullett)
