I'm not familiar with OpenOffice, but perhaps you can read the code for the macro steps and figure out how to do them manually.

Also, you may not even need to do a conversion any more. I wrote it as a stop-gap measure when AncestryDNA first allowed downloads, but many 3rd party tools can now read an AncestryDNA file directly.
