I have multiple tests too.

Yes, as was said previously, a good first assumption is that any matches you have that your Mom doesn't are from your Dad.

And, yes, any matches where you have a higher confidence rating than your Mom likely mean DNA from both sides of your family.

That said, you could also have inherited just enough DNA from both sides to create a mixed segment that isn't a match or a close match at all. I'd say that this is most likely to happen with your Moderate matches.

It is frustrating that we can't see the full story on ancestry. The only way to identify those mixed segments (my term not a scientific one!) is through GEDmatch or FTDNA.
