Keep in mind that your best bet of connecting with others sharing your surname may be through a Y-DNA test, which of course isn't offered on Ancestry.com any longer. With those results you could join a surname group for your surname.
In my own case, I have had my father take an autosomal test and even with something over 5000 matches, even after the recent changes, I still don't think that I have seen an autosomal match who shares our surname, although I do have some matches who are descendants of ancestors who do. In other words, through your autosomal testing you are probably more likely to have people in your match list who may be descendants of Booths in the past than who have the Booth surname themselves, and you may have to search through a lot of trees to find them.
I am assuming that you have already run a search of your current matches using your surname as a filter but remember that new matches will be added as time goes on so you will need to continue to do this periodically.
In some ways I almost envy you having so few matches to review. Before the recent changes I had about 15,000 or so listed, which was really impossible to check. Even the current 5000 is unmanageable and the number just gets larger as the days go by.
