I agree with you on the problem with people not requesting notification via email if someone sends them an Ancestry message. How many people do not look at the very small mail icon at the top of the page when they enter the Ancestry home page? Not that it's going to happen but it would be nice if there was an audible notification when you enter the site like the old "You've Got Mail!" on AOL. I have had people respond to my message so many months later that I have to remind myself what I was asking them about in the first place.
