I like looking over the "Hints" that pop up related to the Ancestry DNA tests I've submitted. However, it occurred to me that if we could compare the results for three (or more) tests, we might find a few more.
Example: My test (A) matches with another user (B) - but there is no known common relative (let's assume (B) doesn't have an Ancestry tree, yet). Meanwhile, (A) AND (B) also match with (C). If (A) and (C) have a common ancestor, then it seems likely that the same common ancestor exists between (A) and (B).
If I could download ALL of my matches into a spreadsheet - and have (B) do the same with his/her matches, then we could do the basic comparisons offline.
Has anyone tried this? Is there a procedure for downloading all of your matches? (In my case, I have 247 pages of them!)
