I'd say your mother should be a priority. Unfortunately, Ancestry's testing service doesn't have a chromosome browser (or does it?), but other services do, and having your mom's info would help you distinguish what you've inherited from each parent. But I'm not sure if you can get that level of detail from Ancestry.
