I shared what you said with my family, the fact that I got more DNA from my Italian grandpa than my English/Dutch grandma. I am not sure if having more DNA from a certain person increases the likelihood of having the same physical traits. Whether that is the case or not, no one was surprised because my grandpa and I look so much alike and our mannerisms are very similar.
