I'm hoping they reevaluate their results, not for myself but for those that cannot afford another test. I did the Ancestry DNA test and have no British Isles DNA according to ancestry.com but was born in England and have documented 7 generations in England.
After reading some sites it was recommended that people do the 23andme test.
I did both the Geno 2.0 and 23andme and got a more detailed mtDNA , not just H subclade but am H1a.
Also they do the genetic ancestry and tell you where you come from based on your DNA compared to groups. Both sites have my first group as British Isles. They are right on.
I have read a lot of stuff about how ancestry.com are grouping so many people in the Scandinavian group, obviously they are having issues.
