I am confused, I have never changed my user name , it is rice809, always was. I decided not to put my real name on ancestry.com for security and privacy reasons.
If you would all look at the link I posted, they state that someone who has all great grandparents born in Britian should have a pie chart to include British Isles DNA.
I have 16 GG grandparents. I don't care if I would only have a small percentage of DNA from Britian, but none. That makes no sense.
All you people living in the US with ancestors many generations ago that moved from England and you have 99% British Isles, that's a bit hard to believe.
Also, if the concept of Britian being the original melting pot is so true then no one should have 99% British Isles DNA.
The other two tests I did Geno 2.0 and 23and me are more accurate I think. They don't say I have 99% British Isles DNA but it is reflected in my genetic makeup.
Please google the issues with ancestry DNA that has been discussed ad nauseam by geneticists, specifically the big percentage of Scan DNA being reported for many many people.
