I have just now begun to get results form my DNA but now I am wondering if this is on the up and up. I have received many high matches -98-97%s of last names that have married into our family but when I look at the trees of these persons there is no connection that comes close to my family, this makes no sense. Then two matches are by first name only -in my tree I had a Margaret's that I did not know the last name so I only listed Margaret yet I received a high percentage match to someone's tree that had listed a first name of Margaret also but no connection what ever to my to my family line. How can DNA connect only a first name ? I have yet to see any firm connection to my family line. Are the names picked from others trees because the names are a match in my tree and not by DNA, I am really beginning to question this.
