What exactly is the relationship between these two regions, hence the admixture between both regions? I can see the Caucasus/Middle East similarity since they're immediately geographically adjacent, but why South Asia?

Does it by chance have any relationship with the ancient "Aryan" (Indo-European speakers) migrations into northern India emanating mainly from the northern Middle East?
