I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out.
I (daughter) took the test and my Father took it too.

Through my Father's side I am Lithuanian and Polish
I wanted to find out more on my paternal great grandmother's line (Lithuanian) as she is a mystery where she died when my grandfather (her son) was an infant.They had no daughters, just 3 boys.

Are the results mainly through his father leaving me no chance at finding out about his father's mother (his grandmother)?
We share a match on the Lithuanian side through a male cousin (our great grandparents were siblings, my great grandfather and his great grandmother).

Would my Father's test not have matches to his Lithuanian grandmother? And would I, instead of him, have matches to his Lithuanian grandmother? My Lithuanian matches don't match any of his matches with the exception of the one I mentioned above through his father. Should I assume that my Lithuania matches are tied to my great grandmother, or not at all?

I apologize for my confusion and don't know if I'm asking what I'm trying to figure out correctly.
