My mother deceased few yrs back, just finding out she was adopted I know who her mother was, now deacesed, but cant find out the father. All persons related are long passed
My mom was born 1929 her mother was married while pregnant but husband was divorcing her at same time. Stated the child was not his and his wife ran with other men during his marriage to her. After the divorce she remarried and soon after She divorce this man stated NO children in marriage.
I have recently talked to the daughter of the second husband and she seems to think he was my mothers father??
That would make my mom and her half sisters, I guess
She is willing to take DNA with me and what I want to know is that possible? and how to go about it.
Any advice is appreciated. Adoption records out of the picture I heard they were closed deals. This is in Knox County Tennessee Adoption would have been 1930 if it was a legal adoption and not just gave to the couple whom I believed to be my grandparents all these 60yrs...
