Notification from Ancestry when DNA attached trees have changed
Is there any way to find out if Ancestry Autosomal DNA matches have made changes to their trees, such as adding more people, changing a tree from private to public or adding a tree when they did not have one? It would be helpful if Ancestry could alert us when a tree in our DNA match haschanged.

No, in general, there is not. If you are an invitee to the tree, you get notices of additions to the tree.

Re: Notification from Ancestry when DNA attached trees have changed
Sounds good in theory but if you have 160 pages of matches like me that would come to 3000 people. I would hate to get a notification every time one of those 3000 people decided to make a change to their tree! I have a tough enough time keeping up with everything on the Recent Member Connect Activity Screen
Seriously, though, it might be good to have a notification system if you could set parameters as to what sort of activities would generate a notification, and you would receive only notifications of those particular activities and how often you would receive them, etc. Whether a notification system would be practical considering the large numbers of Ancestry members who have been tested is probably the real issue.

Yes, I see what you are saying. But , as you suggest, filters might work, for example, notifying within your "extremely high" matches or within a particular surname.
