There are cases of people have 2 different DNA in their bodies. They are called chimeras. It is believed to be caused by one fraternal twin absorbing the other before birth. There are several documented cases and it is believed to be more common than originally thought. The case he referred to the woman had different DNA in her uterus which she passed to her children.

Google DNA chimera. There are several documented cases of people having more than one blood type or children not matching mother for kidney donation. My son studied this in college last year.
