Hi,
A potential relative in the States has taken the Ancestry autosomal test which we were hoping to compare with my cousin's yDNA results. Obviously this isn't possible (we thought he was taking a yDNA test) but are now wondering if Ancestry give the y and mt haplogroups as other companies do for autosomal tests.
If Ancestry do tell you your predicted haplogroups then we could at least compare his with my cousin's and that could tell us if they were definitely not of the same paternal line, though wouldn't confirm conclusively if they were.
If Ancestry do, please could someone tell me whereabouts on the website the haplogroup information is found - as I am in the UK I cannot access the same view and need to tell this non-techie possible relative what to look for!
Many thanks!
Liz
