Ancestry's Facebook page has been full of complaints about this issue for a week or so. The moderators say they have reported the issue to the developers.

Maps & Locations has not worked in Chrome (or Chrome Incognito) for awhile for me. Yesterday, out of curiosity, I tried Firefox & IE. Both worked. While Firefox is my normal browser of choice for everything else, I use Chrome for AncestryDNA. I usually have fewer problems with the DNA portion of ancestry's website in Chrome. Plus, I use the Chrome extension, AncestryDNA Helper, so I choose to give up the use of Maps & Locations for the use of the extension.
