I'm trying to match some of my identified segments to the ancestors they seem to be associated with. Combining 3 matches from Gedmatch and 2 from FTDNA, I have 5 cousins who probably have the same set of ancestors. I know that 4 of them do, but one hasn't responded to my e-mails. Here's what the match data looks like.
match A chr2 3100000 7500000 9.8
match B chr2 3400000 7500000 9.3
match C chr2 3900000 7500000 8.3
match D chr2 3900000 7900000 9.2
match E chr2 4200000 7900000 8.6
A, B, D, E and myself all descend on paper from the same ancestors. If I'm mapping my DNA segment would I take the lowest beginning and the highest ending value from the list of matches to get the segment length associated with those ancestors? That would make it
chr2 3100000 7900000
