I have searched online and have not found many reviews on the actual test or the breakdown of the test results.

I am looking for traces of anyone on my paternal side. My maternal side is pretty clear cut on my maternal grandmothers side and a little less clear on my maternal grandfathers side. I can only account for my maternal grandmothers origins for sure, but other than that I am not sure.

I am just wondering how well this test will help match me to potential family members.

All I seem to find it the misreprentation of scandanavian ancestry, ironically that is one of 2 regions I know for sure I am so if others who have no known scandanvian roots have such high proportions I wonder what mine will show when I know I am 12.5% Danish as my maternal great grandfather came to to the US from denmark when he was 15.

While my outward appearance very much aligns with my mothers side, I know that my dna is not all hers, I have inherited B+ blood which my mom had A+ so I know that I am not all (her) so to speak and I am hoping that there are some strong leads from taking the ancestry dna test.


What is others experiences? Can I expect any good leads? While I am waiting for my results, what are some good ways to prepare for the results?
