My brother is stranded with 7 other people in a apartment building in the Garden District of New Orleans. A few of the people with them have medical conditions that could worsen if meds not given soon. They att to leav eyesterady but were turned back by some armed police. They bridge they were trying to cross was for vehs only. Shots were fired when people began to get desperate. Thye returned to the apartment building, pretty much secured it as best they could and now they are just waiting for help. Someone if you are able please let peopel know there are peopel stranded and very scared in the 1700 Blk of Coliseum St. Someone in law enforcement should go door to door as soon as is safe to do so...They say the situation grows worse by the hour. I am desperate just to get them out of there, I do realize there are people in much worse circumstances . I just dont want them to be forgotten as they wait , peacefully for rescue
