While researching the General Slocum Disaster, I came across references to several monuments. I am wondering if they are all still surviving, and if there are any others "unknown" at this time?
1. Big monument and graves of unidentified victims in Lutheran Cemetery, Middle Village queens
2. Plaque in Tompkins Square Park (used to be on an oblisk)
3. Plaque on Niederstein's (then Hotel) now restaurant which has been "missing" for about 25 years
4. Monument unvieled by President Teddy Roosevelt in Bronx (is this still there?)
5. Wreath shaped plaque presented to the city from the citizens of France (was it ever displayed?)
