Hi
My Grandmother tried to find information about her Uncle and his wife (and apparently mother-in-law). His name was William Jackson, I can't remember his wife's name, and he was aged about 47 years old. They wrote to their son (also called William) to say they were travelling back to England from Boston USA on the Lusitania ( the final voyage). His son lost all contact with his parents after the sinking, which leads to the belief that they did in fact perish.
However, on obtaining a passenger and crew list, my grandma could not find any mention of a William Jackson.
My Grandma has sinced passed away, but I would love to be able to solve this mystery for her. Any advise would be most welcome.
Best Wishes
Beverley
