Beloil Bridge Train Wreck

Surnames: Bay, Bey, Bai
My Great-grandparents whose names were Gottlieb and Bertha Bay were aboard that train/their oldest son Karl was killed and is buried at Mt Royal Cemetery along with a cousin with the same last name. They were German and came aboard the ship named Nickar. If there is any further info regarding them, such as where they were from in Germany it would be greatly apppreciated. I believe there was a Canadian newspaper article from that time that actually quoted a Mrs. Bai
