Hello, all. I have been trying for years to find out when and where my great grandfather, Jess Bryant Lefevre, disappeared to. He is not in the SSDI and I have tried the Fort Wayne, Indiana area as well as he lived there for many years with his wife Elizabeth (Betty Jane). He was born in Bellville, Ohio on September 11, 1878. He lived in Fort Wayne from the 1920's up until the late '40's. He and Betty operated the Betty Jean School of Beauty Culture in Fort Wayne for many years. For some reason, they moved in their later years to Harrisburg, PA. As far as I know, Jess had no known connection to Harrisburg. I do not know anything about Betty Jane as she was not my grandmother but was the woman he married after my grandmother. I cannot even find a death record for Betty Jane or what her maiden name was. My great grandfather was in the circus early in the 1920's along with my grandmother, Bertha (a seamstress for the circus) and my grandfather, Larue. This was probably when they lived in Brooklyn, NY or New Jersey. I'm beginning to lose hope of every finding an answer. Sorry to make such a long post but I want to give as much info as possible. I would be forever grateful to anyone who has any information, however insignificant it may be.
